TORONTO, November 10, 2016 – SlimCut Media, Canadian leader in outstream video solutions for publishers, today announced a network-wide partnership with Rogers Media – one of Canada’s largest media companies.
 
SlimCut’s outstream video ad technology is now available across Rogers Media’s premium properties that include world-class brands such as Sportsnet, Maclean’s, 680News and Chatelaine. SlimCut’s outstream platform automatically deploys video advertising within a publisher’s written content, both on desktop and mobile. Outstream video only plays when the reader can actually see it to maximize viewability.
 
SlimCut worked closely with Rogers Media’s advertising operations team to build a custom DoubleClick for Publishers™ (DFP) integration, which allows for advanced targeting capabilities. Additionally, SlimCut ad units are coordinated with other video players on the page, to ensure only one video is playing at one time.
